SAS Cargo is adjusting the dynamic fuel surcharge fee to fully cover the fuel costs and thereby making it more transparent. The new fuel surcharge level will better reflect the actual incremental cost of fuel per kilo required to transport freight on short and long-haul routes. This model will be introduced in each Sales country considering possible local regulations and authority approvals effective for departures from the 30th of October 2022.

The fuel surcharge fee level is determined once a month based on the average fuel price from IATA PLATTS Jet CIF Northwest Europe (NWE) High.

For more information on the fuel surcharge levels for each Sales country, visit https://www.sascargo.com/en/Products/SAS-Cargo-Charges-and-Fees.
The applicable fuel surcharge fee will be displayed during the online booking process at SASCARGO.COM.
