Qatar Airways announces expansion of operations in the Doha – Melbourne route from the current once-daily schedule to double-daily flights from 1 October 2022.

The auto-confirmation weight limit for bookings made via Qatar Airways Cargo Online Services Portal has been increased to 1,000 kgs. The maximum weight limitation for online bookings has been doubled as well, for customers across the Qatar Airways Cargo network.

Embargo on human remains transportation to India:
All Human Remains to India require prior approval from a number of authorities at the destination in India.

In order to transport human remains, clear scanned copies of the following documents to be forwarded to the destination along with the "OK to forward" confirmation from the relevant Qatar Airways Cargo destination office:
• Certificate from the Embassy of India at origin station/country.
• Embalming and packing certificate from the hospital Cancelled passport of the deceased.
• Death certificate mentions the cause of death.
• Certificate of packaging of human remains as per WHO guidelines.
• Air waybill copy.

To obtain "OK to forward” confirmation from the destination and for any further clarification, please contact your local cargo office. All the original documents must be onboard along with the human remains.
