General FAQ:

1. I haven’t received any email with my Username and Password to access TACT Online.

How can I get the login details?

  • If you have subscribed to TACT Online, you will receive a confirmation email with your login credentials (once payment has been received).
  • If you have already subscribed to TACT Online, received and paid your invoice but did not receive a confirmation email with login credentials (also check your junk/spam mail folders), please contact our Customer Service via www.iata.org/cs. Remember to always include your subscription number when you contact us.

2. I have forgotten my Password or Username, how do I reset it?

On the login page, click “Can’t access your account?” Enter your email address and a 4-digit Pin code of your choice, then click on “Request”. You will receive an email with a link in it. Click on the link in this email, enter the pin code you have provided and enter a new password for your account. Your account will be reset with a new password.

3. I cannot login with the login credentials. What shall I do now?

If you have a problem logging in with your credentials, try resetting your password.

Note: at the end of your subscription term (1 January - 31 December) your access to TACT Online will be automatically blocked if your subscription was cancelled or invoice has not been paid.

If you have renewed and paid for your subscription and still cannot access TACT Online, please contact our Customer Service via www.iata.org/cs. Remember to always include your subscription number when you contact us.

4. How do I invite colleagues to use TACT Online (I am the Admin of the account)?

To invite colleagues to use TACT Online, please follow these instructions:

  • See our instruction video here or follow below easy steps:
    • Go to Account Overview
    • Click on the Invite Users tab
    • Enter the additional user from your company and click the Save button
    • An email will be sent to the new user who should activate their account within 48 hours. If activation is not done within 48 hours, please repeat the steps above.

5. I have a question about my subscription. Who do I contact?

For all queries regarding your subscription please contact our support team.

6. I would like to subscribe to TACT Online or other products. How do I order?

Visit www.tact-online.org/OrderForm to submit your order.

7. I am trying to login but receive an error: "Account already logged in". What should I do?

TACT Online subscription is a single-user license and does not permit the same account to be logged in multiple times.

If this happens, please ensure any other connection with TACT Online is logged out before logging in again.

Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of Use for more information. If your company needs more than one account to access TACT Online, please contact our support team.

10. Can I connect through a web service (API) to import TACT Rates into my own rates management system?

Yes, the TACT Tariffs API ("TACT Web Service") allows to connect your transport management system to the TACT platform and retrieve TACT Rates when you need them.

11. Can I connect through a web service (API) to import market and contract rates to my own rates management system?

Yes, IATA Net Rates allows you to connect your transport management system using a web service (API) to retrieve rates directly to your platform. For more information visit www.iata.org/netrates.

12. Does IATA Net Rates work for General Sales Agents (GSAs)?

GSAs  can load rates on behalf of the airlines directly into the IATA Net Rates system.

13. Are worldwide rates available via IATA Net Rates?

Yes. The Net Rates system offers airlines the possibility to load and publish all rates, regardless of origin or destination.

14. Can shippers see the rates in IATA Net Rates?

Customers procuring cargo directly with the airlines can get access to their own contracted rates.

15. Can forwarders see airline names in IATA Net Rates?

Yes. All rates are listed by carrier.

16. How are confidential rates treated in IATA Net Rates?

Contracted rates between two parties are flagged as such and are only transmitted to the respective forwarder account.

17. Does IATA Net Rates show additional information from the airlines, like size/weight restrictions, routing, etc.?

Yes, airlines can show all kinds of restrictions in IATA Net Rates, but the actual information displayed depends on what the airline wants to show. In general, forwarders should receive all the information and rates that are needed to pick the product that is best-suited to their needs.

18. In IATA Net Rates, does the displayed rate mean there’s space available on the aircraft?

Space availability or guarantees are subject, but not limited to the airlines terms and conditions of the rates displayed, or specific contractual space allotments.

19. What are the steps for my airline to integrate my rates into IATA Net Rates?

IATA Net Rates team provides full implementation support that covers all the necessary steps, like mapping of rate formats and web service integration. For more information contact us here
